Jeanne Long, a watercolor painter for 25 years, describes herself as someone attracted to depicting the beautiful and the mystical. Nature washed in light is a constant subject.

Her work has won awards in the Fine Arts Exhibition at the Minnesota State Fair. As a judge, she was in charge of judging painting and drawing for the Uptown Art Fair.
Her work is in private and public collections and has been published on book covers and in the national magazine, Artist’s Sketchbook, as well as being featured in Midwest Home. She lives in Linden Hills near the chain of lakes, an inspiration for many of her paintings.
