James Nutt

James Nutt is an architect, artist, instructor and constant sketcher. He practices architecture at 3M,  and maintains a studio in the NE Minneapolis at the Haecceity Studios and Gallery in the Northrup King Building (Dock 5 - Studio 184)

James' focus is finding and communicating the relationships, energy and stories of our everyday environment.  He strives for an “accurate looseness” using a self-imposed limited color palette to focus on energetic line work, depth and proportion to provide balance and harmony.
